Just here to tell my story of how my Heidi passed away while she was in the care of Shannon Hicks ( Old Town Animal Hospital in Katy) & David Thurmond ( Katy Pet Clinic.) I have been writing a blog,which Shannon Hicks & David Thurmond have been trying to have shut down on a daily basis. They do not want anyone to know what they did to my dog, they still haven't told me but one of their nice honest employees did. Who has agreed to testify, when we end up in court. Especially Hick's, he is going to be shocked to find out who has been passing me bits of info along to me. It took 6 weeks before they would even give me my girls records. This was going against Texas State Law. I am not even sure the records i finally received are the originals. Right now they both are being investigated by Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. I will keep everyone up to date on the progress of the case when i am given the info. As far as i know, all the info is Open and i will be able to post it. Pet Owners, please look into the history of the Vet's you take your pets to. I did not do this & i pay the price every minute of every day. Both Shannon Hicks & David Thurmond have both been in trouble with the Vet Board before. These can been seen @ http://www.tbvme.state.tx.us/verify.asp Just type in your Vets name & it will show if they have been in trouble before. Their records are considered OPEN RECORDS, so anybody get detailed info on your Vet for free.
