I'd like to recommand 'Ada' by Vladimir Nabokov, a most famous 'wordplayer' and 'aesthete' and my personal favourite. His synesthesia let him create incredible images and feelings in his novels.

'Ada' is about forbidden passion, obsession, eternal love and ... time. But don't expect it to teach you anythink. My sugestion would be to let yourselfs carried away by the pictures.
